First time visiting here, although it was pretty good, it was very expensive: I put back the tiny $8.90 Tiramisu cup, and the chips and drink combo was a $6 up-charge which I also declined. I ordered the 8" "Crazy Italian" Sub. I'm not sure what's crazy about it besides it had way too much oil, so much oil it soaked thru the sandwich, paper, and the brown paper bag onto the table. Other that that the sandwich itself tasted pretty good, very little meat, very thinly sliced but the spices, with lettuce, tomatoes and banana peppers all came together rather well. As I was eating the sandwich at the deli and reading the reviews listed here. And they all seem to be hit or miss. I do agree with all yhe 1-star reviewers, nothing seemed to have changed, except the person preparing my food did wear new gloves, although gloves are not required in Virginia! (another commenter remarked on this) My initial atmosphere was not good, a kid was at a table playing loud music on his cell phone, I assume the owner's kid. And then started kicking his soccer ball inside against the front glass panels very hard. Not the type of good environment for a small deli (or first impressions). They left shortly

stopped by here for lunch since i drive by all the time. i was highly impressed. it’s a small shop but the food it’s incredible. i think it was the owner who helped me out he was very friendly and made everyone coming in smile and laugh. now for the food: i got the reuben and it honestly was the best one ive ever had. the bread was soft while the edges were crisp. and it had alotttt of filling. it was a messy sandwich but i’d get it again and again. also got a side of fries and putting the fries inside the sandwich was honestly really good too. the desserts looked really good so i couldn’t resist i ended up getting a hazelnut mouse. oh my god. it was really good it reminded me of a ferrero rocher but it wasn’t crunchy it was incredibly smooth and silky. the verdict is i highly recommend this spot, they also have wine to sip and non alcoholic drinks as well. i definitely will be coming back soon for another lunch.

I've been coming here for years and this place is always a solid five stars! The staff is always accommodating and very down to earth, definitely a family run business atmosphere. My mom is super picky about her Italian subs and this place is one of her favorites! I always get one of the classic deli options and they do not disappoint and are always super fresh. They also have an amazing selection of wine and dessert! It's super casual inside and very welcoming. There isn't a ton of seating, so while I have dined in I usually plan to take out.

My mom brought home subs from here for lunch and they were very tasty. I got the spicy Italian and thought it was great. Will come again. ************************ My children wanted Italian sandwiches for lunch, and I saw on Maps that a Deli is close by, and we are happy we did. The sandwiches we got were delicious, while I was waiting I saw there are premade desserts in the refrigerator, and we grabbed some as well. My kids declared them all delicious and agreed that we should come back to try other things on the menu. It is also worth noting that the deli also carries a small selection of good dry pasta, sauces and canned tomatoes, with an enthusiastic selection of wines, prosecco and soft drinks.

Would HIGHLY not recommend - if we could rate it a zero we would. Maybe cold deli sandwiches are excellent here? Trying to figure out how this place has over 4 stars when we threw most of our dinner away. The lasagna was edible but not great. The chicken parm ($17) was literally frozen breaded chicken nuggets and bland overcooked noodles. We threw it away as it was pictured. The hot sandwiches had very little meat - mostly bread. The caesar salad ($12) was literally iceberg lettuce with 5 baby carrots thrown on top. Insane. We are seriously considering calling for a refund.
